Erie County is excited to announce its collaboration with AMPION to provide clean power and energy savings for our community through Community Solar. New York State facilitates Community Solar, which allows residents to lower their monthly utility bills and support locally generated solar power without the need for panel installation on their property.
These Community Solar projects located within our utility territories are on a first come, first served basis. Signing up is easy and free. Past due utility amounts don't matter!
Once your solar project is active, you automatically receive bill credits. On average, this takes 3-9 months and can sometimes take longer. Your savings continue for 5 years.
