Payment Info for Erie County NY Probation Department

We do not accept personal checks or phone payments.  You can make a payment online, by visiting in person or by mail.

Online Payments

NOTE: UNAUTHORIZED CREDIT CARD USE COULD RESULT IN NEW CRIMINAL CHARGES AND/OR A VIOLATION OF PROBATION

To make a credit card payment you will need the following:

  • The probationer's PIN (Personal Identification Number). Consult your Probation Officer if you do not know your PIN.
  • Name, address, phone number and email address of person on probation for whom a payment is being made.
  • Credit card information, including expiration date and name of cardholder

The following service fees apply to online payments:

$0.01-$100 = $2.50
$100.01-$200 = $5.00
$200.01-$300 = $7.50
$300.01-$400 = $10.00
$400.01-$500 = $12.50

There is a $500 limit per online transaction.

In Person

The Cashier's Office is located on the 2nd floor of the Erie County Family Court Building located at:
One Niagara Plaza
Buffalo, NY 14202

  • Payments are accepted in person between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm, Mon-Fri (closed on holidays).
  • We accept cash, money order, certified bank check, Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover. Be sure to clearly write your Name and PIN on your check/money order.
  • If you are paying with someone else's credit card, that person must be present with proper identification.

By Mail

Payments can be made with a certified check or money order ONLY. Be sure to write your name and PIN clearly on your payment and mail to:
