The Food Policy Council of Buffalo and Erie County (FPC) is a subcommittee of the Erie County Board of Health, and was created by law in May 2013 - the first FPC recognized by law in NYS.
The Council, comprised of appointed and stakeholder members, offers guidance to local policy makers on ways to improve the local food system for the region's farmers, consumers, and other stakeholders.
