Dr. Cynetra Ferguson is a distinguished professional who serves as Small Business Resource Coordinator and Adjunct Instructor at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). As CEO and principal consultant of CT Ferguson Consulting, she brings over 28 years of engineering expertise across diverse sectors and 17 years of DEI leadership experience. Dr. Ferguson holds a Doctor of Education in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher University, where her research focused on Employee Resource Groups' impact on women of color in the workplace.
Her extensive professional background includes leadership roles in telecommunications, automotive, pharmaceutical, and financial sectors. She has served as Vice President of the African American Resource Group at M&T Bank and held key positions in diversity initiatives across multiple organizations. In recognition of her contributions, she received the Buffalo Black Achievers Award in 2020.
