Moms' Equal Pay Day 2025

May 6th is Moms’ Equal Pay Day. Did you know? Moms working full-time, year-round, were paid 74 cents, and all earners (including part-time and seasonal) were paid 62 cents for every dollar paid to dads.

On March 25th, which is considered All Women’s Equal Pay Day, the Erie County Commission on the Status of Women (ECCSW) and Cornell ILR Buffalo Co-Lab released, Lower Pay and Greater Barriers to Success, a report commissioned by the ECCSW on Women and Work and the persistent pay gap in Erie County. A copy of the report and it's findings is available on the Erie County Commission on the Status of Women website.
