Per New York State Agriculture and Markets Law Section 303-a, every eight years Agricultural Districts shall be reviewed. During this 30 day review period, requests for inclusion or removal of property in the affected districts are accepted and considered, and residents involved in agriculture within the affected districts are encouraged to fill out a survey of their agricultural operations.
Ongoing Reviews
The eight-year review of Southeast Agricultural District No. 15 (SEAD) is now underway. Landowners wishing to remove or add land to the SEAD were able to submit requests from October 1 - 31, 2024. Requests are no longer being accepted.
