Radar / Lidar Operator Instructor Course

The Erie County Law Enforcement Training Academy, in conjunction with NYS DCJS Office of Public Safety will be offering this one (1) day Radar / Lidar Instructor course.
This NHTSA program is designed to train individuals in the proper procedures and protocols to instruct the NHTSA Speed Measurement Operator Series (Radar and Lidar). This course will consist of classroom presentation and field exercises. Mandatory prerequisites for attending this training are listed below:
Prerequisites:
• Certified Radar or Radar-Lidar Operator.
• Valid General Topics instructor status.
Priority will be given to full time, Erie County Police Agencies.
Please Observe The Academy Dress Code:
Uniform or shirt and tie for men, proper business attire for women; blue jeans are ‘NOT” acceptable
