Radar / Lidar Operator Course

The Erie County Law Enforcement Training Academy, in conjunction with NYS DCJS Office of Public Safety will be offering this four (4) day course in Radar / Lidar operation. Every officer who successfully completes this course will be certified as a Radar / Lidar operator. As this course is being offered in conjunction with the 145TH Basic Course, enrollment may be limited.
Priority will be given to full time, Erie County Police Agencies.
Pre-requisite: NONE
Special Note: Each student registered will be required to have a certified radar operator and radar unit for the PM session on day two and all day on day three.
Please Observe The Academy Dress Code:
Uniform or shirt and tie for men, proper business attire for women; blue jeans are ‘NOT” acceptable
