Description: The Erie County Law Enforcement Training Academy in cooperation with Stop-DWI and the Erie County District Attorney’s Office will present a four (4) hour SFST Refresher Course. This program is designed to update law enforcement officers who are currently certified in DWI Detection and Standard Field Sobriety Testing using proper procedures and protocols. The Erie County District Attorney’s Office will discuss evidentiary and discovery issues concerning DWI & DWAI investigations.

 

Prerequisite: Previous successful completion of the DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Course 

 

The course enrollment will be limited to twenty four (24) officers. Priority will be given to full time Erie County Police Agencies. Unless enrollment permits otherwise, agencies are limited to allow equal opportunity to attend this course. Additional classes can be scheduled based on demand.

 

Course Cost: There is no course cost for Erie County Police Agencies. Other agencies should call to see if a fee applies. 

Dress Code: Uniform or business casual attire
