Proposed Amendment to Rules and Regulations for Erie County Sewer District

The Division of Sewerage Management is in the process of amending the “Rules and Regulations for Erie County Sewer Districts”, last updated in 2009.  Below are links to the proposed changes, with a “red line” version showing the suggested edits and a “clean” version with the suggested edits incorporated:

The proposed changes to the “Rules and Regulations for Erie County Sewer Districts” will be considered during the October 2024 meetings of the Erie County Sewer District Boards of Managers.  Should the Boards approve during these meetings, the Division of Sewerage Management would next initiate review by the County Attorney's office and initiate the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) process to notify various stakeholders of the proposed changes.  Ultimately, the Erie County Legislature would be requested to approve the changes and should that occur, the updated “Rules and Regulations for Erie County Sewer Districts” would become effective.
