| Walk to Cure Arthritis |

The Walk to Cure Arthritis Buffalo will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Delaware Park in Buffalo. Registration begins at 9:30 AM, and the Walk begins at 10:00 AM.
The Walk to Cure Arthritis Buffalo is a community-centered event that brings together individuals living with arthritis, families, caregivers, healthcare professionals, advocates, sponsors, and community partners for a meaningful day of awareness, advocacy, connection, and hope. Arthritis and related autoimmune conditions can impact mobility, independence, employment, caregiving, mental health, daily functioning, and overall quality of life, making this event especially relevant to disability awareness, accessibility, and community inclusion.
This year’s fundraising goal is $25,000, and a portion of the money raised will support local resources within the Western New York Community. Participants can sign up as an individual walker, join an existing team, or create a team in honor or support of someone affected by arthritis. The route is one lap around Delaware Park and is designed to be welcoming and accessible for people of all ages and abilities.
Even if someone is unable to walk the one-lap route around Delaware Park, we would still love for them to come out and be part of the day. There will be a DJ, family-friendly activities, community connection, and opportunities to learn more about arthritis resources and support available through the Arthritis Foundation.
I am also still accepting sponsors for this year’s Walk and would be grateful for any support in helping share this opportunity with organizations, partners, and community members who may be interested in sponsoring, creating a team, donating, volunteering, or attending.
