Directions
- In a large pot fill, add smoked meat, onions, hot peppers, sprinkle with garlic powder, and add water till fully submerged.
- Bring to a boil and let simmer for about 40 minutes.
- In the meantime clean beans and snap ends off and set aside.
- Then clean potatoes and cut into quarters. Add potatoes to pot. Add ¼ cup of hot sauce.
- After about 10 minutes, add green beans and cook until beans and potatoes are done.
- Often this dish taste better the next day after it has a chance to marinate in the hot and smoked flavors.
