Chapter Outline:

  • Local food production and procurement - provides resiliency, reduces food deserts, assists local economies, bolsters emergency food systems for production and procurement 
  • Address Food Waste through donations, reduction of waste, composting and digesters
  • Reduce consumption, increase reuse and recycling to reduce solid waste

We are seeking comments from individuals and organizations on this chapter. Once the Goal, Strategies, and Action Items are drafted, public comment period of 30 days will be open. Please get involved and help inform our Erie County Community Action Plan.
