WNY Be In Business
The small business community is the lifeblood of Western New York’s economy. As such, there are a multitude of resources and services available that can be difficult to access. The need to convene said resources was made ever apparent during the COVID 19 pandemic, and as we emerge from the economic crisis that resulted, that need is still just as great. Therefore, Erie County, the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, and several partners have embarked on this collaborative effort to bring resource providers and business services organizations under one virtual roof so that entrepreneurs can access the support they need and achieve their small business goals.
Small Business Resource List
Being a small business owner can be a daunting task, especially in the wake of the current COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately there are a multitude of resources available to help shepherd business owners through the storm. The Erie County Business Task Force has compiled a comprehensive list of small business service providers that can assist with access to capital, technical trainings, networking opportunities and more!
Shop 716 - Amherst Chamber of Commerce
Western New York has a long history of meeting daunting challenges. As always, when all of us work together, great things can happen. This is our home. These are our neighbors. The survival of local businesses is our responsibility.
As we searched for innovative ways to grow our members’ businesses, spark some recovery from the pandemic and build community, we’re excited to introduce this program in November 2020!
Consumers can purchase the Shop 716 eGift Cards as gifts or for self-use, and companies can use it for employee rewards, anniversary gifts, customer appreciation, survey incentives, contests and or simply to be an extension of the shop local theme. The dollars stay local and benefit our retailers, restaurants, co-ops and attractions in Erie County.
