Chief, Confidential Criminal Investigator
Starting Annual Salary: $69,622

Chief, Confidential Criminal Investigator The work involves responsibility for supervising and actively participating in all investigative work conducted by the District Attorney's Office.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A.) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered four (4) year college or university with a Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years of experience as a police officer, at least four (4) years of which included criminal investigative work experience; or:
B.) Completion of a minimum of 60 semester credit hours from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university and eleven (11) years of experience as a police officer, at least four (4) years of which included criminal investigative work experience; or:
C.) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and thirteen (13) years of experience as a police officer, at least four (4) years of which included criminal investigative work experience; or:
D.) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B), (C) and (D).
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Possession of a Police Officer Basic Training Certificate or its equivalent issued by the New York State Municipal Police Training Council at time of appointment; and
- Possession of a valid New York State Driver's License at time of appointment; and
- Meet minimum standards on annual firearms qualification.
