DEPARTMENT: SOCIAL SERVICES
TITLE OF POSITION: CHILD SUPPORT INVESTIGATOR (1 Anticipated vacancy)
LOCATION: Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE)
SALARY: Starting $49,379 Annually (CSEA JOB GROUP:7)
*Per resolution approved by State Civil Service Commission, under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement (HELP) Program, this title is temporarily re-assigned to NON-COMPETITIVE Classification.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A) Possession of a Bachelor's Degree**; or:
B) Completion of 60 college-level credit hours** and two (2) years of experience in account management, accounting/bookkeeping, paralegal work, investigation of claims for insurance, worker’s compensation, unemployment or government benefits including interviewing work involving public contact or experience in reviewing or evaluating claims for benefits in social programs operating under established criteria for eligibility; or:
C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B).
Candidates must sign up and sit for the exam once it is announced.
Candidates must be reachable on the civil service list to maintain position.
