TITLE OF POSITION: CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR - HUMAN SERVICES (PROVISONAL)
LOCATION: RATH BUILDING, BUFFALO, NY 14202
JOB GROUP: 11- $58,269 - $83,362
WORK SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY; 8:30AM-4:30PM OR 9:00AM-5:00PM

*Please note that this position is a competitive civil service title and will require a civil service examination in the future. After the exam, selection for permanent appointment(s) will be made from reachable candidate(s) on the eligible list according to the NYS Civil Service Rule of Three.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A.) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business or Administration, or closely related field and three (3) years of administrative experience in the development, management, preparation, and/or contracts human service delivery; or:
B. ) Completion of sixty (60) semester hours at a regionally accredited or New York State registered two (2) or four (4) year college or university with a major in Human Services, Business or Administration, or closely related field and (5) years of administrative experience in the development, management, preparation, and/ or administration of contracts human service delivery; or:
C.) An equivalent of training and experience as defined by the limits (A) and (B).
SAMPLE WORK ACTIVITIES:

- Participates in the bidding process for the development and delivery of human services;
- Reviews contracts to ensure components are in line with needed services;
- Collaborates with Federal, State, and local entities, including but not limited to various County departments to coordinate service delivery and data collection;
- Administers on-going contracts by assuring compliance; collaborating with contractors to resolve problems;
- Oversees the planning, development, and evaluation of provider contracts;
- Serves as a technical liaison with providers in relation for contract development and delivery;
- Oversees the reporting of service providers to include performance-based outcomes; fiscal reports to assure accuracy and authorize payment;
- Coordinates communication with providers to discuss service delivery outcomes and concerns as they arise. Provide supports as required;
- Conducts site visits as appropriate.
