TITLE OF POSITION:                                 DATA ENTRY OPERATOR (PROVISIONAL*) 

ANNUAL SALARY:              $42,108 - $49,833 (JOB GROUP 04)

*Please note that this position is a competitive civil service title and will require a civil service examination in the future. After the exam, selection for permanent appointment(s) will be made from reachable candidate(s) on the eligible list according to the NYS Civil Service Rule of Three.
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and one (1) year of experience in the operation of data entry equipment; or: 

B) Successful completion of an acceptable course in the operation of data entry equipment and six (6) months experience in the operation of data entry equipment; or: 

C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B). 

NOTE: Verifiable part-time and/or volunteer experience will be pro-rated toward meeting full-time experience requirements.
