TITLE OF POSITION: DIVERSITY EQUITY & INCLUSION FACILITATOR (PROVISIONAL*)
LOCATION: APPLETREE BUSINESS PARK
JOB GROUP: JOB GROUP 11(Starting Salary: $62419)
* *Please note that this positions is a competitive civil service title and will require a civil service examination in the future. After the exam, selection for permanent appointment(s) will be made from reachable candidate(s) on the eligible list according to the NYS Civil Service Rule of Three.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A) Possession of a Master's degree in Social Work and three years of full-time experience with a public or private agency adhering to acceptable standards in social work which included at least two years in child protective or child and family service casework, and one-year leading Diversity, Inclusion and Equity initiatives; or:
B) Possession of a Bachelor's degree and five years of full-time experience in social work with a public or private agency adhering to acceptable standards which included at least three years in child protective or child and family service casework, and one year leading Diversity, Inclusion and Equity initiatives; or:
C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B).
NOTE: Verifiable part-time and/or volunteer experience will be pro-rated toward meeting full time experience requirements
