(OPEN) PROVISIONAL
DEPARTMENT: SOCIAL SERVICES (YOUTH SERVICES)
TITLE OF POSITION: HEAD JANITOR
LOCATION: 810 EAST FERRY
SALARY: JG 6: (Starting Annual Salary $43,029)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
(A) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two (2)
years of janitorial work experience; or:
(B) Graduation from grammar school and six (6) years of work experience, two (2) years of which
must have been in janitorial work; or:
(C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (a) and (b).
NOTE: Verifiable part-time and/or volunteer experience will be pro-rated toward meeting full-time experience requirements.
Candidates must also take the Civil Service Exam to be held at a later date and be reachable to maintain position.
This notice will be posted for the period September 23, 2025 through and including October 2, 2025.
