TITLE OF POSITIONS: PARK MAINTENANCE WORKER I (2 vacancies)
Full Time – AFSCME
POSITIONS: # 51010028 (TEMPORARY) and # 51009994 (TEMPORARY)
SALARY: $40,213-$45,760 Annually (AFSCME JOB GROUP JG-3)
FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Working knowledge of buildings and grounds maintenance procedures and equipment; ability to perform variety of unskilled maintenance and repair tasks; ability to perform heavy laboring tasks and work in adverse weather conditions; ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions; dependability; capable of performing the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: None
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Possession of a valid NYS Class D (minimum) Driver’s License at time of appointment; and,
- Must be able to lift and carry, unassisted, packages, bags, etc. weighing up to 50 lbs.
