JOB GROUP & SALARY SCALE: JG-13 - $73,861- $94,698
FULL PERFORMANCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Thorough knowledge of the operation, maintenance and repair of park structures, buildings and grounds; Thorough knowledge of tools, techniques and terminology involved in the park maintenance; Working knowledge of forestry and landscape architectural procedures; Ability to plan and supervise the work of park maintenance personnel; Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints and specifications; Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; Ability to maintain records and to prepare reports; Industry and dependability; Initiative and resourcefulness; Capable of performing the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A) Completion of sixty (60) semester credit hours of college-level study and four (4) years of experience in maintenance or management activities or related field, at least three (3) years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or: B) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and six (6) years of experience as indicated in (A), at least three (3) years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; or: C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B).
Note: Verifiable part-time and/or volunteer experience will be pro-rated toward meeting full-time experience
