SHIFT: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
TITLE OF POSITION: SECRETARIAL TYPIST (PROVISIONAL*)

ANNUAL SALARY: $43,950 – $53,094 (CSEA JOB GROUP 06)
*Please note that this position is a competitive civil service title and will require a civil service examination in the future. After the exam, selection for permanent appointment(s) will be made from reachable candidate(s) on the eligible list according to the NYS Civil Service Rule of Three.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A) Completion of one (1) year of study at a regionally accredited or New York State registered college, university or business school, supplemented by courses in typing or word processing and three (3) years of office experience, including typing or word processing; or:
B) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma, supplemented by courses in typing or word processing and four (4) years of office experience, including typing or word processing; or:
C) Six (6) years of office experience, including typing or word processing; or:
D) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B), and (C) above.
