SENIOR NURSE PRACTITIONER

SHIFT:                                                         8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday through Friday

TITLE OF POSITION:                                SENIOR NURSE PRACTITIONER  (Permanent Probation)

SALARY SCALE:              $127,835 – $158,679 (NYSNA Job Group 16)

*MUST have Family Planning experience*

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A.) Possession of a Master's degree* in Nursing, including or supplemented by successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program approved by the New York State Education Department; or: 

B.) Possession of a Bachelor's degree* in Nursing supplemented by successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program approved by the New York State Education Department and two (2) years of experience in certified specialty area. 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Licensure and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and
• Possession of a current New York State Education Department certification as a Nurse Practitioner that specifies specialty area of practice; and
• Possession of a valid New York State driver's license and an automobile available for use. 

NOTE: Verifiable part-time and/or volunteer experience will be pro-rated toward meeting full-time experience requirements
