TITLE OF POSITION: SENIOR PARALEGAL* (1 anticipated vacancy*)
LOCATION: LEGAL
Annual Salary: Starting $47,942 (for new county employees); $47,942- $59,109 (CSEA Job Group 7)
*This position will be a temporary appointment and is subject to civil service examination at a future date.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A.) Possession of an Associate’s degree in Paralegal studies and 18 months of experience as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant; or:
B.) Possession of a Bachelor’s degree and 18 months of experience as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant; or:
C.) Possession of a Bachelor’s degree, including 15 credit hours in Paralegal studies and 12 months of experience as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant; or:
D.) Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies; or:
E.) Completion of an approved Paralegal Certificate program and 18 months of experience as a Paralegal/ Legal Assistant; or:
F.) Possession of a Juris Doctorate degree; or:
G.) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B), and (C)
CANDIDATES MUST HAVE SIGNED UP FOR THE EXAMINATION BY 12/6/2023, SIT FOR THE EXAM AND SCORE WITHIN THE TOP THREE TO MAINTAIN THE POSITION.
