JOB GROUP:             JG 4 (STARTING SALARY–$37,469)

SHIFT:                                    7:30 A.M. TO 3:30 P.M. MONDAY-FRIDAY

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

A.) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two years of supervisory work experience; or:

B.) Graduation from grammar school and six years of work experience, two years of which must have been in a supervisory position; or: 

C.) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits above.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:  Supervises the removal of ice and snow from steps, sidewalks and parking areas, etc.;

Supervises the cleaning of sidewalks, steps, parking areas, etc.; 

Supervises beautification projects and the cleaning and maintenance of public areas such as parks and public access areas, including removing of waste paper and rubbish; 

Instructs clients in proper cleaning, laboring and maintenance activities; 

Inspects work to see if it has been done properly; 

Assures adequate safety precautions are developed and maintained at work sites; 

Maintains time and attendance records; 

Maintains record of equipment.
