Erie County’s Environmental Division works to preserve and protect the air, water and soil on which our community is dependent. The Division’s work is largely funded by state and federal grants. Erie County leverages that grant funding to assist municipalities with regulatory compliance, implement conservation initiatives in County operations, and provide programs for residents – all of which help to protect our environment.
