Centrally located at the Northland Workforce Training Center in Buffalo, the Omega Mentoring Program proudly hosts an Earth Day Celebration with family friendly activities, sustainably minded give aways, and information about Earth-savvy organizations and services.
The celebration will include:
- Get crafty with hands-on activities for kids of all ages.
- Enter to win prizes like a new bike, solar phone chargers, and more!
- Learn how to fix a bike at Wheels for Workers Flat Tire Workshop!
- Bring an electric bill and sign up for ECLIPSE Community Solar for discounts on your electric utility bill.

Rain barrels are more than just art pieces—they are essential tools for reducing contaminated stormwater runoff, which is the #1 cause of pollution in our waterways. Through this contest, students learned about environmental conservation while showcasing their creativity.
Environmental Management Council (EMC) Environmental Excellence Award Ceremony
Join us for the awards ceremony recognizing outstanding projects by municipal and non-profit organizations in Erie County that have made a positive impact on the environment. Since 2015, this program has celebrated initiatives in areas such as planning, natural resource protection, air and water quality, ecosystem health, energy, agriculture, waste management, and climate change.
