Directions
- Preheat oven to 350ยบ
- Boil brown rice and water in saucepan. Redue heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until the rice absorbs the water (about 45 minutes).
- Cook and stir beef, garlic, and onion in skillet over medium heat until meat is evenly browned and onio is softened (about 5 minutes).
- Remove and discard seeds and tops of peppers. Arrange peppers in baking dish with hollowed sides facing upwards.
- Mix beef, rice, tomato sauce, Worchestershire, salt and pepper in a bowl. Spoon equal amounts into peppers. Mix remaining tomato sauce and Italian seasoning and pour overtop the peppers.
- Bake one hour, basting with sauce every 15 minutes. Add parmesan before serving.
