Purpose of the Logistics Sector
The Logistics section provides oversight to ensure that ECMRC is properly equipped for incident response, gathers information regarding mission assignments, and begins the initial planning activities with oversight of the Logistics Section Chief.
Goal of the ECMRC Logistics Section
- Determine that facilities, services, and materials are provided for the incident response.
- Plan, staff, and manage the logistics section to meet the needs of the incident in a safe and efficient manner.
- Continue to assess material and staff needs throughout incident response and identify any additional resources required for an effective and successful response.
- Coordinate with other sections to assist in accomplishing the overall objectives of the incident.
- Assist in the implementation the demobilization plan.
