Free events offered for organizations and groups seeking public and private funding
The Erie County Department of Health’s (ECDOH) Office of Health Equity has a set of Free Grants Management Workshops planned this fall. If you are part of an organization that applies for grants or receives grant funding, this workshop offers practical information about preparing for grants, managing grants, workplans, budgets, reporting and the entire grant process.
Organizations and groups serving minority, marginalized and underserved communities in Erie County, such as nonprofits, community centers, block clubs, faith community groups and grassroots organizations, will find this helpful.
Pre-registration for these workshops is required: email healthequity@erie.gov or call (716) 858-1681.

The Office has also produced a publication, “Let’s Talk About Grants,” that supports grant writing and management, and a 7-video series on YouTube that explains the basics of grants and funders. Access those resources through the Health Equity web page.
