We don't just provide birth control! Using the latest diagnostic and treatment techniques, the Family Planning Center's team of OB/GYN specialists offers a wide variety of services for women and men of all ages. Our services are confidential, patient-centered and are happy to serve people of all ages, genders, race, religious affiliations, sexual orientation and abilities. 

Our specialists are focused on disease prevention, including patient education and counseling, to ensure you understand all aspects of your treatment and care.  We work closely with each patient to ensure that healthy and safe reproductive health choices are made. We offer multiple resources and can assist with referrals to other healthcare providers based on your needs.

All Erie County residents are seen regardless of ability to pay. Staff are available on-site to assist those who are uninsured in receiving low-cost or free family planning services and in applying for the Family Planning Benefit Program.

Hours

Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm; Extended hours on Wednesdays from 8:30 am - 6:00 pm.

Walk-ins accepted or you can make an appointment - whatever works best for you!

Payment Options

All Erie County residents are seen regardless of ability to pay.

Staff are available on-site to assist those who are uninsured in receiving low-cost or free family planning services and in applying for the Family Planning Benefit Program. 

Insurance 

All insurances are accepted for payment.

Family Planning Benefit Program (FPBP)

FPBP is a public health insurance program for those who may not be able to afford family planning service. You qualify for this program if you are a NY State resident, male or female, fall within certain income requirements, and are not already enrolled in Medicaid or Family Health Plus.

To apply for FPBP, bring the following info to the center:

  • Valid photo ID (license, school ID)
  • Proof of income (4 weeks of pay stubs,  proof of unemployment, or social security disability benefits)
  • Proof of address (post-marked rent receipt or a non-window envelope sent within the last month)
