Western New York Immunization Coalition

About the Coalition

The coalition's members include representatives from the NY State Department of Health, WNY County Health Departments, health maintenance organizations, health insurance companies, vaccine manufacturers and home health care companies. Our main focus is:

  • To increase awareness regarding the importance of immunizations in an effort to minimize vaccine preventable diseases.
  • To ensure a consistent message is presented to the community regarding immunizations.
  • To decrease the number of vaccine preventable illnesses by increasing immunization rates.
  • To ensure high quality care and convenient access to immunizations for the general public.
  • To assist healthcare providers with ordering vaccine and other questions they may have.
