Creative staff members at Senior Services came up with a unique item - the "EMERGI-CAN"... an item not "seen on TV" nor available on QVC. What is it you ask? "EMERGI-CAN" is your very own, portable, Johnny-On-The-Spot: simply wash out a 32-oz. size yogurt container with re-sealable lid - or coffee can, or pickle jar, etc. This product can be easily stored in your vehicle and has no expiration date. Anyone who has been stranded in their vehicle away from sanitary services for multiple hours knows just how important this tool can be!
* Please note: Use once and dispose – toilet paper not included, but can easily be stored inside. Wipes recommended.
To be prepared wherever you might be - - work, car, home - - the attached reference sheet has suggestions for supplies so you can start to build your own preparedness kit.

Flashlight with extra batteries
Use the flashlight to find your way if the power is out. Do not use candles or any other open flame for emergency lighting.
Battery-powered radio
News about the emergency may change rapidly as events unfold. You also will be concerned about family and friends in the area. Radio reports will give information about the areas most affected.
