Join Ranger Nikki for a walk in the woods getting our hands dirty digging through leaf litter, flipping logs and exploring Cayuga Creek for some creepy crawling critters! Come prepared for hands-on interactions with bugs and worms of all kinds! Let’s explore what is below our feet that goes unseen!

 

  • Meeting Location: Boy Scout Trail (Shelter 11) (Google Maps)
  • Duration: 1-2 hours
  • Distance: 1-2 miles
  • Elevation: Mostly flat
  • Surface Description: Dirt/mud trail, will likely explore creek 
    • Equipment Needed: Proper footwear (sneakers, hiking boots, rain boots), gloves if you do not want your hands to get dirty
  • Other: No Stroller / Wheelchair accessibility, dogs are welcome on a leash
