Fall Fest
10am - 4pm Location: Como Lake - Como Lake Casino Please join us for our Fall Festival on September 30th as we host free live music, food trucks, kid's activities, vendors and a hayride! Admission & Parking are free! Parking will also be available at William St School located at 5201 William St, Lancaster, NY 14086 A shuttle will run non- stop during the event. The FREE NFTA Parks Adventure Bus will also be running to and from the downtown MTA NFTA station and the event. Eternal Flame Falls Hike ~ Chestnut Ridge Park ~
10am Location: Chestnut Ridge - Eternal Flame Parking Lot Come Join Ranger Roy and hike the world-renowned Eternal Flame Trail at Chestnut Ridge Park. This will be a fun-filled educational hike that will have you home in time for Kickoff!

Fantastic Fall Fungi ~ Franklin Gulf Park ~
10am Location: Franklin Gulf - Larkin St Parking Lot Let’s go exploring for some fun-guys with Ranger Stephanie. This program is made for novice mushroom seekers but folks with expert mushroom hunting status are more than welcome to join. We will be traveling through different forest habitats to look for a wide array of mushrooms. We will discuss special adaptations these fungi possess and their importance in keeping our forests healthy!

Owl Prowl *Spooky Edition* ~ Chestnut Ridge Park ~
7pm Location: Chestnut Ridge - Shelter #8 Join Ranger Nikki for a night time walk searching for our quietest nocturnal bird, the owl. Learn owl calls and some interesting facts about the species we have here in our parks.

What The Rut? ~ Como Lake Park ~
10am Location: Como Lake - Shelter #5 (Boy Scout Shelter) As the daylight begins to fade, the white-tailed deer breeding season (the rut) begins. Join Ranger Greg on a hike of the Boy Scout Trail in search of deer sign and learn all about what goes on during the Whitetail Rut!

Santa Land! - Chestnut Ridge Park - 12/16/23 10am-4pm
10am - 4pm Location: Chestnut Ridge Come explore Santa Land! This free event offers plenty of activities for the whole family. At Santa Land there will be a mailbox for your letters to Santa, Arts and crafts Wagon rides to the "North Pole" A chance to meet and take a photo with Santa Wood branding and Marshmallow roasting!
