Seneca Bluffs Walk and Talk Saturday, November 23, 2024 - Location: Seneca Bluffs Natural Habitat Park - Meeting Location: Main Parking Area Join Erie County's Seneca Bluffs Project Manager to learn about the $2.4 million dollars of green infrastructure and accessibility improvements to be invested in the park in the next five years. We will also walk the trail and learn about the habitat the park provides.
Accessibility: Mostly Flat, Not wheelchair accessible but partly walker accessible.
Length: 0.75 mile walk
Dogs: On-leash dogs welcome.
Restrooms: None
Parking: Plenty of on site parking
Cancelation Policy: If there is a travel ban or a severe storm predicted, the event will be canceled.
Food Option: The closest restaurant is The Riverfield 865.

Forest Health Hike ~Partnered with HikerBabes~ Sunday, December 8, 2024 - Location: Bureau of Forestry - Meeting location, Bureau of Forestry Sugar Shack and Sawmill Sunday, December 8, 2024

Description/Why: Why are healthy forests important? As we walk we will explore how to observe forest health, how your body is benefiting from a hike in the woods, and what you can do to support trees in your neighborhood.
Trail Description: Easy, 1.7 Miles, Hardwood Forest, Conifer Plantation, Creeks, Marshlands, Part of the Finger Lakes Trail System, Can be wet and muddy after a rain event, some hills.
Accessibility: Not wheelchair or walker accessible.
Dogs: Allowed on leash
Bathrooms: Located at the Forestry visitor center

Santa Land ~ Chestnut Ridge Park ~ Saturday, December 14, 2024 - Location: Chestnut Ridge Erie County's most beloved event returns to Chestnut Ridge!
Enter at the main entrance of Chestnut Ridge Park and parking will be available in the main lot only. Parking is limited, so come early and prepare to wait for an open spot, if the lot is closed.
