E-waste collection is only available for Village of Hamburg property owners and residents. E-waste must be dropped off to Dept. of Public Works Monday following large trash week. Can also drop off at third party. Third parties can be found @ http://www2.erie.gov/recycling/index.php?q=electronics You can also attend Erie County drop-off events or contact your local transfer station.
Latex paint accepted at electronic waste drop-off events. Otherwise, attend Erie County events.
Yard waste is picked up weekly with regular garbage from Late Spring to late fall. 60 lbs. max in an open container. Brush collection starts on the last Monday of each month. Sticks and brush up to 4" in diameter and 6' in length with NO ROOTS, neatly piled with large end toward the road. Leaf collections begins in the fall. Do not rake leaves into the street. Do not bag leaves. Do not stack leaves with brush. Check website for dates.
Picked up third full week of March, June, & September on your regular garbage day.
