A press conference and call to action outlining the True Cost of Child Care in Erie County is taking place at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022 in the atrium of Erie Community College - City Campus, located at 121 Ellicott St. in downtown Buffalo.
Child care professionals and allies, as well as parents and children, and businesses and workforce development advocates, are encouraged to attend. A formal announcement of Cornell University's True Cost of Child Care report, and a call to action for federal response to the child care crisis, are among the items to be outlined and discussed.
