National Child Identity Theft Awareness Day

Sunday, September 1, 2024, All day

As the summer comes to an end, families are busy preparing for the start of school. This usually means shopping for school supplies, registrations, new routines and homework! Be sure to stay up-to-date on recent scams and how to keep children safe online.

In addition to providing advice on How To Protect Your Child From Identity Theft, the Federal Trade Commission has a feature page of articles, alerts and videos which highlights information on protecting kids online and tips for how to discuss online safety with your children.
