Has your company received a letter stating that it shows an updated coronavirus poster for 2020 with a total due of $89.50 if paid before September 24 or $99.50 if paid after September 24?

Something to be aware of this is not a government agency. The middle of this notice states, "The New York Labor Law Poster Service is a non-governmental organization providing mandatory workplace posters and does not have a contract with any government agency. Certain posters may also be available free from issuing governmental agencies. THIS IS NOT A BILL. THIS IS A SOLICITATION. YOU ARE UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO PAY UNLESS YOU ACCEPT THIS OFFER. THIS PRODUCT OR SERVICE HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED OR ENDORSED BY ANY GOVERNMENT AGENCY AND THIS OFFER IS NOT BEING MADE BY AN AGENCY OF THE GOVERNMENT."

When receiving any mailed correspondence, review it in detail. Research any communication received from a company that you typically don't engage or interact with. Never send money without first researching to find out why the company is asking for such. This company is headquartered in Lansing, Michigan, but conducting business in every state in this solicitation. This business seeks to provide companies posters that are generally available free of charge from either the Federal Department of Labor or State Department of Labor. If your company received a letter such as that pictured, be sure to research it thoroughly before purchasing.
