Cultural Capital Grant Program Round 2

ERIE COUNTY CULTURAL CAPITAL GRANT PROGRAM OPENS SECOND YEAR OF APPLICATIONS

The Erie County Department of Environment & Planning has announced that it is now accepting applications for Round Two of the Erie County Cultural Capital Grant Program, announced by Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz at his 2022 State of the County address and intended to aid cultural organizations in tackling capital projects they would not be able to conduct otherwise. This three-year program allocates $25 million for cultural capital projects; small- to mid-size organizations are encouraged to apply.

The application period started on May 24th, 2023 and is now open for submissions. Organizations can click here to  submit their application for the program.

During the submission process, applicants will be required to submit documents in PDF form.  Please have the following documents prepared before starting the application.

  • IRS 501(c)3 exemption determination letter
  • proof of site control (deed or lease agreement)
  • detailed project budget and schedule
  • concise description of the proposed project
  • concept / site plans (optional)
  • letters of support (optional)
  • any other supplemental materials (optional)

Matching funds are not required but strongly recommended.  Please be prepared to provide additional information upon request.
