The Erie County Department of Health (ECDOH) Lead Program offers free trainings to teach you how to use lead safe work practices and recognize unsafe practices.
Did you know that?
- Lead is a poison that can be found in paint, dust & soil.
- Lead poisoning can cause serious health problems in children & adults.
- Lead paint is most likely present in homes & properties built before 1978.
Who should attend this training?
- Anyone who intends to have work done by a contractor.
- Anyone living in a rental unit maintained by a landlord or property manager.
- Anyone working on their own home.
- Everyone is welcome to learn about Lead Safe Work Practices!
Note: this training does not provide EPA RRP Certification. RRP is required for contractors or property managers/landlords working on rental property. See our RRP certification classes for more information.
