Program Overview

The Erie County Public Health (ECPHL) Laboratories has served the residents of Western New York for over six decades and serves as the primary provider of laboratory testing for the Erie County Department of Health (ECDOH) and other local health department's public health and environmental activities. The ECPHL provides rapid test result turn-around time and offers a competitive fee schedule. Customized testing is negotiable and ECPHL staff are available for consultation. Additionally, the laboratory is registered by the Federal Department of Health & Human Services as a CLIA registered laboratory and maintains status as a Reference laboratory in the CDC and NYSDOH coordinated Laboratory Response Network for Bioterrorism.
