The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) Cooling Assistance Program opens Tuesday, April 15, 2025 and is available for eligible residents in Erie County. The opening of the HEAP Cooling season coincides with the April 7, 2025 closure of both the Heating Assistance program, as well as the Emergency heating benefit component.
Additionally, the Clean & Tune and HERR programs are scheduled to close for the season at the close of business on Friday, May 9, 2025.
