Join Greater Buffalo Urban Growers (GBUG), Massachusetts Avenue Project, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County, and other local agricultural organizations at the Soil Health Workshop Saturday, April 20th from 10am-1pm at the 5 Loaves Farmhouse (70 W. Delavan Ave)
Participants can receive a free lead screening for their soil along with result interpretation, health education, and best gardening practices to feel confident and safe when growing this season.
Notes for Participants
- Participants cannot drop-off samples. Two samples max per participant.
- Screening takes approximately 5-15mins depending on the number of samples and participants.
- Soil education, result interpretation, and health resources provided during and following testing.
- Sample must be dry to get accurate results which takes a couple days to a week to dry so take a sample early!
- Nutrient and full heavy metal test from certified lab available at no charge (email required for shipping and results)
