Soil Health Workshop

Join Greater Buffalo Urban Growers (GBUG), Massachusetts Avenue Project, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Erie County, and other local agricultural organizations at the Soil Health Workshop Saturday, April 20th from 10am-1pm at the 5 Loaves Farmhouse (70 W. Delavan Ave) 

Participants can receive a free lead screening for their soil along with result interpretation, health education, and best gardening practices to feel confident and safe when growing this season.

Notes for Participants 

• Participants cannot drop-off samples. Two samples max per participant.
• Screening takes approximately 5-15mins depending on the number of samples and participants.
• Soil education, result interpretation, and health resources provided during and following testing.
• Sample must be dry to get accurate results which takes a couple days to a week to dry so take a sample early!
• Nutrient and full heavy metal test from certified lab available at no charge (email required for shipping and results)
