Amy McCabe

Ms. McCabe has been an Assistant Erie County Attorney since 2001.  She is the Supervising Attorney in the Family Court Division of the County Attorney’s office.  She is responsible for the preparation of petitions, prosecution and trial of Juvenile Delinquents on behalf of the People of the State of New York in Erie County Family Court.  She represents school districts in truancy petitions and assists parents in petitions alleging Persons In Need of Supervision ("PINS").  She represents the Erie County Department of Probation in the prosecution of juvenile probation violations and also participates as a team member in Juvenile Treatment Court.
