Chris Sasiadek

Chris Sasiadek serves as an Assistant County Attorney, representing Erie County in the defense of civil matters and handling Extreme Risk Protection Order applications. Chris joined the Erie County Attorney’s Office from a large private firm where he handled a wide variety of civil litigation matters. However, this is a return to public service for Chris, who worked as a public school teacher and as a caseworker in a Congressional office before attending SUNY Buffalo Law School. It was in these positions that Chris discovered his ardor for advocacy. Before that, Chris studied at Cornell and American Universities, where he earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree respectively. He was admitted to practice in New York Courts in 2017 and is also admitted to the Western District of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Passionate about literacy, access to information, and creating safe and inclusive community third-spaces, Chris gives back to the community by serving as a Trustee of the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library.
