Ifeoluwa M. Popoola

Ifeoluwa M. Popoola is an internationally trained attorney who was born and raised in Nigeria. She started her law career journey at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria where she completed her undergraduate Law school education before proceeding to The Nigerian Law School to earn her Bachelor of Law degree. She subsequently had a general practice of law in Nigeria for 3 years representing indigents in her local community in civil and criminal cases until she decided to pursue professional advancement at the University of Buffalo School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree. Presently, Ifeoluwa is licensed to practice Law in New York State and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York State and remains a licensed Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

Ifeoluwa has a burning passion for service that consistently guides her choice of professional and career activities and appointments. She started in law school as a Catalyst program scholar and went on after graduation to serve the indigents of Buffalo city as a criminal public defense attorney at the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo. Now, she serves Erie County as an Assistant County Attorney in the civil litigation unit.

Ifeoluwa is equally passionate about equity and equal access to legal services and representation for all citizens, an attribute that guides her extracurricular professional assignments and appointments. These includes her service as a Board member of the Minority Bar Association and the Bar Association of Erie County Volunteer Lawyers Project. Without a doubt, Ifeoluwa is an avid and seasoned defense attorney who enjoys using her empathy for humanity and legal prowess to restore hope to people.

For leisure, Ifeoluwa enjoys spending quality time building her beautiful family and fostering relationships within her local community especially through her church.
