MARA: Medication Assisted Recovery Anonymous

Many who suffer with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) have an honest desired to recover but have not felt welcomed at traditional 12 step recovery meetings or other self-help meetings because they have chosen MAT as part of their personal pathway to recovery.

If you are currently utilizing Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) to aid in your recovery then MARA is for you.

Whether you are or are not on MAT, persons on any prescribed medication, such as Methadone, Naltrexone (Vivitrol), Suboxone, Buprenorphine (Buprenex), various Psychotropic medications and any others that are approved by the medical community.

Which MAT you are currently on is not what’s important to us, RECOVERY is.

MAT saves lives. Recovery is Possible, we can and do recover.
