Location: Franklin Gulf - Meeting Location: Franklin Gulf County Park, Larkin Road Parking Lot
Join Ranger Nikki for a woodland walk at Franklin Gulf Park looking for inland birds migrating back into our area after this long winter! Bring your binoculars and bird identification guides as we walk, look and listen for some of our returning bird species! All birding levels welcome and extra binoculars are available!
· Meeting Location: Franklin Gulf County Park, Larkin Road Parking Lot
· Duration: 1-2 hours
· Elevation: Hilly, will be taking a few different trails throughout park
· Distance: 1-2 miles
· Surface Description: Dirt trail, there may be exposed roots, may be muddy or snowy/icy
· Equipment Needed: proper shoes, walking sticks (if you would like), binoculars (we do have some extras that can be borrowed), birding identification guide
· Other: No stroller/wheelchair accessibility
